2010 InformationWeek 500 Pre-registration

Pre-register to qualify and receive information on the application process

InformationWeek identifies and honors the nation's most innovative users of information technology with its annual InformationWeek 500 listing. To be contacted regarding the 2010 listing, please complete pre-registration form on the following page. [Note: If you are a public relations company filling out the form on behalf of your client, please include your client's name.]

Unique among corporate rankings, the InformationWeek 500 spotlights the power of innovation in information technology, rather than simply identifying the biggest IT spenders. Candidate organizations are asked to complete an application as well as an essay question. Winners will be featured in the InformationWeek 500 issue and recognized at the InformationWeek Conference and Awards Gala in September 2010.

Now in its 22nd year, the InformationWeek 500 tracks the technology, strategies, investments and administrative practices of the best-known companies in the country.   2009 winners include CME Group, Cincinatti Children's Hospital Medical Center, The Progressive Group of Insurance Companies, Wells Fargo, Salesforce.com, among others.

Between the opportunities to showcase your company as one of the most innovative users of technology, to the outstanding content planned for the InformationWeek 500 Conference and Awards Gala where the winners will be revealed, we believe that InformationWeek 500 is going to be one of the hottest programs of the year. Here’s what some of our 2009 winners had to say:

“At Cincinnati Children’s, we’re proud to make the InformationWeek 500 because of what the technology and innovation here at CCHMC means to our patients and families.  The Fetal Care Portal and other technology innovations at CCHMC help us provide better care to our patients by sharing data more effectively, conducting more comprehensive research, and collaborating more effectively while making complex, data-driven medical decisions.”

"It has been the endeavor of the Global IT team at The Coca-Cola Company to act as a catalyst in enhancing the productivity and efficiency of the way we do our business across geographies.  The team has strived hard to provide technology solutions which are not only relevant but also make a difference in the way we connect, manage, and operate our business in over 200 countries.  The recognition by InformationWeek is the latest testament to the tremendous results achieved by the Global IT team at Coca-Cola.”

“Given the scarcity of capital in today’s real estate market, companies that effectively leverage technology have a competitive advantage with potential investors, partners, and lenders.  We constantly use our investments in technology to differentiate CenterPoint when establishing these new relationships.  The prestige associated with making the InformationWeek 500 provides material and credible support to our claims of being one of the best-run and technologically-advanced real estate enterprises."

Scott C. Zimmerman
CIO
CenterPoint Properties
Industry: Consulting & Business Services

“The more complex and technical the IT challenge, the less visibility and understanding the general population has of it.  Some of the brightest and most gifted individuals are obscured behind the walls of IT.  The InformationWeek 500 list provides a window to the success of the business and many of the individuals who delivered the solution/success.  Lack of communication and soft-skills seem to be a constant and pervasive issue for many IT organizations.  The InformationWeek 500 list increases visibility which expands the teams’ opportunity to grow beyond their normal boundaries.  Aerojet’s customers are very smart because the business really is rocket science.  They may not be experts in IT matters, but having the distinction of being on the list potentially increases their confidence in our ability to provide solutions."

Craig Halterman
VP & CIO
Aerojet-General Corp.
Industry: Manufacturing
